Shaq vs Duncan

Shaquille O’Neal faces Tim Duncan in this very, very even matchup for the rights to head to WGTG’s sweet sixteen.

 round-2-match-14

Shaquille O’Neal:

  • Drafted number one overall in 1992
  • 1992-93 NBA Rookie of the Year
  • 4 time NBA champion (3 time Finals MVP)
  • 15 time NBA all-star (3 time MVP)
  • NBA MVP in 2000
  • Won a gold medal at the ’96 Olympics in Atlanta
  • Featured on the cover of 6 video games
  • Wants Kobe to tell him how his ass tastes

Tim Duncan:

  • Drafted number one overall in 1997
  • 1997-98 NBA Rookie of the Year
  • 4 time NBA Champion (3 time Finals MVP)
  • 11 time NBA all-star (MVP in 2000)
  • NBA MVP in 2002 and 2003
  • Won a bronze medal at the ’04 Olympics in Athens
  • Finds joy in playing ‘himself’ on video games
  • Loves Renaissance Fairs

This may be the most even matchup in the bracket to date.  Shaq and Duncan are very comparable as you can see.  I think I have to give it to Duncan though.  He has 2 MVP awards to Shaq’s 1.  Duncan moves on. (CGoodz is very disappointed)

About shasaw

My wonderful abilities to write have caused Chris to offer me a contract worth $4.8 million to write for We Got The Goodz. I reluctantly accepted the offer since I know that my skills are worth much more than that. Anyway, here is some stuff about me. Interests: Baseball (D-Backs), Hockey (Sabres), Football (Bills), also playing pool, darts and poker Music: Mostly country, although I'm a big fan of the Kings of Leon. The Foo Fighters, John Mayer, Jason Mraz and the Eagles are good too. Movies: Slap Shot, Happy Gilmore, Braveheart, I Am Legend, Starsky and Hutch, Blues Brothers, Taxi and National Treasure. Books: Kurt Vonnegut is an author I don't mind, so any books he wrote.
