LaDainian Tomlinson takes on Anthony David Gonzalez in this second round matchup.


  • In college he won the Mobile Alabama Bowl MVP in ’00, the Doak Walker Award in ’00, and the Senior Bowl MVP in ’01.
  • Set NCAA record with 406 yards against UTEP. He ended the year leading the nation with over 1800 yards
  • Career stats (NFL): 11,760 yards, 126 rushing TDs, 3801 recieving yards, 15 recieving TDs
  • 5-time Pro Bowler, 6-time All Pro selection
  • AP NFL MVP, PFWA NFL MVP and Co-Walter Payton Man of the Year award winner in 2006
  • In 2007, he won ESPYs in the following categories: Best NFL Player, Best Record-Breaking Performance, Best Male Athlete
  • In 2006, he scored 31 total TDs, an NFL record. He also set the record for points in a season with 186.
  • Holds the NFL record for most consecutive multi-TD games (8) as well as most consecutive games with at least 1 TD (18)

Tony G:

  • As a junior at Cal, Tony Gonzalez caught 92 passes for 982 yards and 23 TDs. 23!!!!!!!!!!
  • He also played basketball as a junior, averaging 7 points and 5 boards a game. Cal made it to the Sweet 16 that year.
  • Career stats (NFL): 916 catches, 10940 yards, 76 touchdowns
  • 10-time Pro Bowler, 9-time All-Pro
  • In 2004, he led the NFL with 102 catches. He ended the year with over 1200 yards and 7 TDs
  • Campaigned for Obama, which automatically makes his awesome
  • Arguably the greatest TE to ever play the game. Has most career catches by a TE, yards by a TE, TDs by a tight end, and 1000 yard seasons by a TE
  • Also one of the greatest Kansas City Chiefs to ever play the game.  Owns the Chiefs records in receptions, yards, TDs, and most consecutive games with a catch (130)

Although I’m a big Tony G fan, I gotta give this one to LT.
